Built for trust from the first request
Layered controls, licensed partners and a vendor-neutral identity layer that keeps verification simple without cutting compliance corners.
Licensed partners for regulated services
RETAILERWAY is not a bank. Card issuing, payments and crypto conversion are provided by licensed third-party partners, and we do not directly store or custody user funds.
Secrets stay on the server
Provider API keys and credentials are only used server-side. Project API secrets are stored only as hashes.
Authenticated, idempotent webhooks
Incoming provider webhooks are authenticated before processing, and identity events are recorded once per provider event so a retried delivery is not applied twice.
Encryption and access control
Traffic is encrypted in transit, administrative functions are restricted to authorised staff, and sensitive endpoints such as sign-in, password reset, payments and the platform API are rate limited.
Verify once. Reuse where supported.
Each regulated partner remains responsible for its own KYC/AML decision and licence obligations. We never claim that one verification is legally valid for every provider — our job is to make the process as short as each partner allows.
- Verify your identity once with RETAILERWAY instead of repeating KYC for every service.
- Before anything is shared with a partner you give explicit consent, see which fields are shared, and can revoke it later.
- We share verification results and metadata rather than raw documents wherever a partner allows it.
- If a partner needs something extra — for example proof of address — only that step is requested.
- Verifications can expire; when they do, you are asked to re-verify rather than silently reused.
